First Post!!!

Hei! Hello! Bonjour!

My name is Miriam, and I'm a 20 year old photography student in central Texas! I guess this first post will be telling you all a little bit about myself. I was born here in Texas in 1995 by two parents (of 19 and 22) who traveled from Norway so we could live in the United States. We moved back to Norway for about a year then came back and moved around the States 4 times before settling in Texas. I learned Norwegian first and English whilst in school and also at home. (Yes, there's stories of me in kindergarten trying to speak Norwegian to other students and not understanding that in English it's "sh" not "kj".)

My whole life all I've wanted to do was travel the world. I've been to Norway multiple times and I felt that my heart belonged out of the States. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Austin, TX. I don't think I could live without the food, music or atmosphere here. 

My entire family lives in Norway right now (as well as London, Mexico and Paris). So I guess this blog is my journey of being a student and trying to travel the world. 

WITH THAT SAID

I'm planning on attending a study abroad trip this coming summer in 2016 to Florence, Italy! I will live in Florence for 4 weeks, visit Rome and Venice then hopefully fly to Paris, then visit family in Norway and fly back home from London!!!!!!! 

Phew, I got that awkward first post out of the way now. Here's a pictures of the view from my grandpa's cabin in Norway.
